The Singapore International Arbitration Centre (“<span class="news-text_medium">SIAC</span>”) has launched its sixth overseas representative office in Beijing, marking its second location in mainland China and has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (“<span class="news-text_medium">VIAC</span>”), further expanding its international institutional network.
SIAC hosted a launch ceremony for its new Beijing representative office on 25 May 2026. The opening marks SIAC's sixth overseas office and its second presence in mainland China. SIAC confirmed that the decision to establish a Beijing office was made in response to consistent demand from users and stakeholders in the region.
Alongside the Beijing launch, SIAC announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the VIAC, further strengthening SIAC's institutional ties across the Asia-Pacific region.
